Basketball Juntch (Mckinley's words)

Bryan recently participated in a faculty verses student basketball game. It was a very exciting game; the final score was 81 to 79. The game went into overtime but in the end the faculty won over the students. Bryan was dead tired. He is certainly not a student anymore. I took some pictures of Mckinley doing his half time show. He feels the music deep down inside as you can see. I’m going to go ahead and assume he gets this from me! I love how his little lips stick out and he nods his head while he dances.

Trip to Colorado

Mckinley and I went to Colorado in February to visit some of our friends in Boulder and see our new cousin/nephew. Bryan's sister Amy gave birth to a very cute little baby Owen. Mckinley had a great time seeing Amy and Brett. He also loved seeing Owen, despite accidentally pushing him out of his swing. Needless to say Owen survived the curiosity of a two-year-old!

Christmas 2006

We did a lot of firsts this year. We went and cut down our own Christmas tree from the mountains, which turned out to be a little more challenging than we had anticipated. Bryan also put up Christmas lights on our house, which I feel really enhanced, my holiday spirit. We also spent Christmas alone this year at our own home. This was a first for us because we usually go to visit family. It was a little more quiet, but was still fun. We went to a wonderful lodge up in the mountains for Christmas dinner. I really enjoyed not having to cook. It was a very quant little lodge that overlooks a river. It was very wintry.
