In August we made the big move to Utah. I know we are crazy! We hadn't even lived in Yakima a year and already we were leaving. Bryan and I wished we could take our house and neighborhood with us. We loved both so much. I have to admit I shed a few tears when we closed and locked to door. Mckinley was way more interested in the movers loading the truck to really grasp that we were actually leaving our house forever. Mckinley knew each one of our movers by name and we even found him a couple of times sitting on some boxes in the truck, just watching them work. Luckily the movers found him more endearing than annoying. We were so blessed to have UVSC pay for our move. I 'm so glad we didn't have to load a Uhaul ourselves and drive accross four states with a three-year-old and me pregnant with twins!

The Twins Baby Shower and My Sister Morena's Visit to Yakima
I'm still playing catch up with my blog. I know some of you want to see more recent pictures, but I just can't until I post some of these old ones. In August my sister Mori came to visit me in Yakima. I loved having her there! She helped with Mckinley and helped pack up our house. I'm so blessed to have such great siblings! While she was visiting us, our ward in Yakima through me a baby shower. It was so fun to get little girl things! I am having lots of fun with pink! I never knew it could be so fun to buy little girl things.

Dance Mckinley!
It's kind of a Waite tradition to play the Beatles song Birthday on your Birthday. Well, we did it this year for Bryan in July and again for Mckinley in August. Mckinley also wanted us to play it over and over again during the week and the weekend. If you notice in the pictures he is using a magic marker to direct and follow the beat. He calls it his, "mission completion". This is from Little Einstein’s, which is his favorite show. I know this will sound a little bias, but the kid can dance!

June California Trip
Mckinley dancing with his cousins Jessica, Tasha, and Tiana
Riding to Laguna Beach with Jessica, Tiana, Tannessa, and Emma
Mckinley buried alive and loving every minute of it!
More cousins: Mckay, Tannessa, and Emma
Bryan and my sister Carol swing dancing!
Both my older sisters had daughters that graduated this year from high school. So to celebrate we had a huge party and danced the night away. My sister Mori knows how to throw one mean luau! We had Hawaiian BBQ, fire dancers, and a DJ. It was so much fun!
The sisters: Carol, Me, and Mori. We were sad that our little sister Laeni couldn't make it to California.

Easter
Amy, Brett and Owen came out to Yakima in April. We had a great time holding Owen and visiting with Amy and Brett. Mckinley had more candy than he needed. Every time I turned around he was shoving another piece of chocolate into his mouth. It was fun to have everyone and to have a house that could accommodate more than three people.

Nana and Papa's Visit In March
Ned and Cindy came in March to help us with Mckinley while we finished the last part of our InVitro process. Mckinley had lots of fun with them! He kept them very busy and often wondering how we care for him day to day. We took them to Pike's Place Market in Seattle and showed them the the fresh fish, flowers, and beautiful produce. It really is a great place to visit.
